Hike the Bruce Trail
Whether for an hour, a day or a week, be sure to spend some quality time hiking or backpacking Canada's oldest and longest footpath. The Bruce Trail provides the only public access to the magnificent Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. For most of its length, the trail is a rugged footpath and in numerous situations it provides spectacular views over Georgian Bay. Backcountry campsites are located along the trail (see map for details and locations). The Bruce Trail is a rugged wilderness trail. Please don't hike alone, take a map, carry lots of food and water and wear sturdy footwear.
