Cove Island LighthouseOne of the most dramatic structures on the Bruce Coast, the Cove Island Lighthouse has been marking passage between Lake Huron and Georgian Bay since 1858. The tower, original house and fog plant, a workshop and keepers' homes make up the light station today. Standing 90ft above the water, it is 80ft from its base to the centre of its light. The lighthouse can only be viewed by private boat, the Chi Cheemaun ferry or by tour boat out of Tobermory. Access to the island is restricted.
Located on the north east corner of Cove Island. Access restricted - view from private boat, Chi-Cheemaun or take a tour boat from the harbour.
